Katie is a UK based interior designer specialising in making houses feel like homes; a place designed with you and your family at their heart. Rebelling against grey, show-home inspired interiors, Katie revels in designing rooms that feel organic, relaxed and unique to the family who live in them.

Katie trained at the Interior Design Institute and is a member of House and Garden’s prestigious ‘The List’ and is a BIID member. 

 

Katie established her career in 2013 as an illustrator, launching a range of illustrated fine art prints and homeware. The businesses has enjoyed many successes; to her website sales she added three ‘Katie Cardew’ stores, in Oakham, Stamford and Lincoln, exclusively stocking her illustrated ranges. The company supplies over 120 retailers and has enjoyed successful stands at RHS Chelsea Flower Show and Burghley Horse Trials. Katie’s business partner and a fantastic team run the business, leaving Katie to concentrate on her interior design clients. 

 

Katie is based on the Rutland/Lincolnshire/Northamptonshire boarders but works with clients across the UK and America.
